Porto Wine Bar Reservations Policy

At Porto Wine Bar, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest. To ensure smooth service and availability, we are pleased to offer a seamless reservations system for your convenience. Below are the details of our reservations policy.

Reservation Methods

Guests can reserve a table via the following methods:

  1. Online: Book directly through our website for the fastest and easiest experience.
  2. Phone: Call us at 01227 941 299 during business hours, and our team will be delighted to assist you.
  3. Email: Send your reservation request to info@portowinebar.com, including the date, time, number of guests, and any special requests.

Booking Confirmation

  • All reservations will be confirmed by email or phone. Please ensure you provide accurate contact details when making your booking.
  • Walk-ins are always welcome, but availability cannot be guaranteed without a prior reservation.

Reservation Times & Table Holding

  • Tables will be held for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can accommodate you.
  • For larger groups (6+ guests), we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. This helps us allocate tables to other guests and ensure smooth service.
  • For no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reservation time, a fee may apply for larger parties.
  • When you book a table at Porto Wine Bar for more than 4 guests, your card details will be taken and in the event of a no-show, a charge of £20.00 per person will be taken from the card. You card details will be held by our payment processor (Stripe) in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault.
  • If you cancel a booking giving 24 hours notice or more, no charge will be made.
  • If you don’t arrive within 15 minutes of the time of your booking, or if you cancel giving less than 24 hours notice, your card will be charged £20.00 per person.
  • You need to be at Porto Wine Bar and ready to be seated by the time of booking – please telephone us if you are running late. We hold tables for 15 minutes and after that it will be released if we have not been contacted and your card will be charged.

Special Requests

  • If you’re celebrating a special occasion, have dietary requirements, or need any specific arrangements, please inform us at the time of booking. We’ll do our best to make your experience memorable.

Groups and Private Events

  • For parties of 10 or more, or for private events, please contact us directly via phone or email to discuss your requirements.
